Dr. William Bezmen is a Psychiatric and Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist, in private practice since 1976. He holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Hypnosis, has completed a Clinical Fellowship in Hypnotherapy,(Institute for Research in Hypnosis and Psychotherapy), a Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress and holds a Diplomate with The American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress. He is a Certified Instructor of Hypnotherapy with the American Board of Hypnotherapy. Dr. Bezmen was featured in Newsday for his work with survivors of 9/11. He had taught Alternatives to Healing in the Graduate School of Nursing at SUNY at Stony Brook, of which he is an Alumni, from 1992-2000. He has developed a healing paradigm known as HypnoSynergistic Therapy that promotes healing of mind, body, and spirit.
William Bezmen, is a Co-owner and Co-Director of Pathways To Health™, a holistic and integrative healing and education center in Mt. Sinai, New York. The focus of Pathways to Health is on physical, personal, and environmental wellness. Reaching out to the community, Pathways To Health has developed customized Corporate Wellness Programs and a variety of courses in Integrative and Preventative Medicine as well as lectures on environmental issues. He has co-developed courses on Clinical Hypnotherapy, Spirituality, Energy Healing, Pain Management, Intuitive Development, and Stress Reduction.
As a community service, William and his partner Judith, have participated for many years in Wellness Fairs. He has provided Free monthly Energy Healing Services to the Community for 25 years. Pathways To Health presents programs and lectures both nationally and internationally on Allopathic and Alternative Healing approaches to total wellness and personal empowerment, guided by a team of experts. Dr. Bezmen has been featured on News 12, Cable TV, and Newsday.
