Couples Energy Workshop
This workshop is offered for couples, traditional and non traditional, desiring to reach greater levels of communication and intimacy. With creativity and support, couples will have the opportunity to open their hearts and connect to each other on a deep physical, emotional, and spiritual level. Processes will include shared meditations, gentle energy work, and hands-on healing techniques.
No Pre-Requisite
Refunds will be given according to the following schedule:
For cancellations 2 or more days prior to the start of the class, 100% of the required deposit will be refunded.
Less than 2 days prior to and up to completion of 25% of the program, 25% of the class will be refunded.
We will hold all deposits and tuition and apply them for the next class offering or towards another class if the student chooses.
How Hypnosis Works
The conscious mind is the part of the mind with which you are most familiar; the part that knows where you are and what you are doing at all times. If the conscious mind cannot see, touch or taste something, then it doesn’t exist. Consequently, it is difficult to change unhealthy behavioral patterns by just using the conscious mind.
The subconscious mind works very much like a computer. Once something is programmed into the computer it remains that way until it is reprogrammed. The old programming repeats no matter how much your conscious mind wishes something else to occur, making it difficult to break long-standing patterns such as smoking.
Hypnosis is an “altered state of consciousness,” similar to daydreaming or getting absorbed in a good book. During this altered state of consciousness, suggestions are able to bypass the conscious mind and can be fed directly into the subconscious, where they can be readily accepted and acted upon immediately.
Traditional smoking cessation and weight loss programs stop here, using only suggestions to help the participant stop smoking or lose weight. What makes Pathways’ Smoking Cessation and Weight Loss programs different from the others?
- Like other hypnosis programs Pathways Hypnosis for Smoking Cessation and Weight Loss programs help participants reach an “altered state of consciousness” where suggestions can be readily accepted by the subconscious mind. However, this is where the similarity ends. Under the expert guidance of Dr. William Bezmen and Pathways staff, participants are able to go back to the origin of their smoking or weight problem and reprogram positive healthy thoughts where limiting, negative thoughts (blocks) reside. These new, more expansive thoughts allow participants to stop smoking or lose weight in a much more painless and effortless way than is usually the case when other approaches are used.These blocks prevent people from being as successful as they would like to be, and it is these blocks that are not addressed in other programs. That is why many people successfully stop smoking or lose weight for a while after attending a hypnosis smoking cessation or weight loss program, but find the old thinking and need to smoke or eat returning, and then go back to their old habits.
- Another unique aspect of Pathways Hypnosis for Smoking Cessation and Weight Loss programs is the teaching of self-hypnosis techniques, so participants can continue to access their own subconscious mind and reinforce their resolve with repeated positive suggestions. By developing skills with self hypnosis, participants reinforce new attitudes no matter where they are and what they may be doing.
- Participants also receive a free hypnosis CD for use on a daily basis at home. This unique CD has been developed by Dr. William Bezmen to take listeners to a place of healing and connect them with their Higher Selves. By experiencing the unconditional love of the Higher Self, listeners can fill the void and heal their addictions. Suggestions given are positive, uplifting and extremely powerful. The more the CDs are heard, the more effective the results. Pathways Hypnosis for Smoking Cessation and Weight Loss programs are offered in two formats:
- Weight Management Program is an 8 week program, called “Healthy Life” that is done in a group setting and involves both teaching and group hypnosis to incorporate the lessons into the deeper mind and to make permanent change. See Healthy Life in the service section.
- The second is a short series of private sessions where even deeper issues that may be blocking success with smoking cessation or weight loss can be uncovered under the helpful guidance of a hypnotherapist.
Pathways To Health™ offers a course in Post Traumatic Stress to provide hypnotherapists with the tools necessary for effective methods of identifying and treating clients with acute and post traumatic stress disorder. The ongoing fear of many in the face of possible terrorist attacks and the many other types of PTSD that clients can be experiencing, make this a very current and common condition seen in all of our practices. Taught by William Bezmen Ph.D., students will learn how to identify both acute stress disorder and post traumatic stress. PTSD can originate from many types of events. Any past trauma such as car accidents, death of a loved one, and childhood events, may again can be triggered by the fear and anxiety that we are facing at this time. The Hypnotherapist will be taught a variety of HypnoSynergistic techniques as well as new ways to empower their clients with the use of self-hypnosis. With the completion of the course the student will receive a certificate in stating that they have specialized training in post traumatic stress.
For the continuing education of Certified Hypnotherapists and re-certification, this course is worth 15 CEU’s.

Pathways To Health is offering a hypnosis continuing education workshop called “Pre & Post Operative Hypnosis For Healing”. This program is designed to enhance your skills in working with clients as well as broadening your scope of practice, which can eventually increase your income and is worth 15 CEU’s. for your continuing education in hypnosis. Pathways is providing you with an opportunity to increase skills that can add new clients to your practice. This includes anyone who is having surgery, invasive procedures, dental work, and testing like MRI’s or blood tests, etc.
Research has proven that hypnosis can speed up recovery and reduce complications. There is much evidence to also support that there is a reduction in the amount of pain medications that are needed; which equals reduction in side effects of these medications and quicker recovery.

This three hour workshop is designed to give participants a brief overview of the history of meditation, helps them identify the differences between meditation, guided imagery, progressive relaxation and prayer.
Techniques of focused breathing, grounding, and a special three minute stress reducer are also covered. No special skills or knowledge base, other than a desire to promote wellness and balance in your life, is required for participation in this relaxed, enjoyable workshop.

Intuitive Counseling II Mediumship
This is an advanced training that teaches participants to become spiritual mediums bridging the human world with the spiritual world. The participants are taught how to conduct PSI Sessions (Psycho-Spiritual Investigation) to be able to bring souls that have crossed over, to heal relationships with those that are still in the human form.

This Pain Management Workshop provides hypnotherapists with the tools necessary for hypnotic methods of reducing pain,
and increasing comfort in clients with acute and chronic pain. Each time this course is offered it is well received. Taught by both William Bezmen Ph.D and Judith Grant MSN., ANP., students will learn how to facilitate a variety of powerful pain reduction techniques as well as how to empower their clients with the use of self-hypnosis in their pain management. Causes and effects of pain will be discussed, as well as the role stress plays in the pain response. Hypnotherapists will also learn a number of ways to help individuals direct their attention away from pain, or alter their response to it. Language patterns, and their impact on a person’s reaction to pain will be discussed and applied to the clinical setting. This course provides 15 contact hours for Hypnotherapy re-certification.

As a HypnoSynergistic Practitioner™, you will be able to assist the client in discovering the origin of his/her blocks. The origins of these blocks range from the soul’s intention prior to the first incarnation, past life trauma, womb experience, birth process, childhood traumas up to present day, including limitations and blocks. The tools you will be provided with in the HSP training program will enable you to assist your client in transforming these blocks.

In this segment participants learn how to: use advanced methods of uncovering the origins of symptomatic behavior; heal the inner child, incorporate spirituality into the hypnotic experience; and set up a hypnosis practice. The core of this course is a powerful transformational healing process that helps clients release deep seated blocks to their personal growth and development. Case presentations by instructors and participants, as well as supervised experiences are also provided. Pre-requisite: Module 1,2,3.
This section takes the first part and adds natural, easy methods of uncovering the origin of the behavior. Using the affect, linguistic and somatic bridges the student learns how to identify the limiting thoughts, the reaction to these thoughts and how to locate where in the cellular memory it is stored. Methods of reframing and restructuring the imprints into positive affirmations and behavior is emphasized so that the client can make the changes that he/she desires. Participants learn: advanced induction techniques, indirect suggestions and inductions. Direct approaches to the origin of the problem including ideomotor questioning, current life hypnotic age regression, parts integration. Participants learn a philosophy and powerful system of healing: how to communicate effectively with the inner mind, misconceptions surrounding hypnosis, functions of the subconscious mind, levels of trance, several induction techniques, pacing and leading to establish rapport, behavioral approaches in treatment; and supervised practicum experience. This is an in depth two day course that will take the student from the most basic aspects of the Chakra System to its multidimensional complexity.
Part 1: Covers chakras as energy vortexes,
chakras as aspects of consciousness, multidimensional communication and reading the chakras.
